Rafael Nadal will meet Roger Federer in the semi final of the season ending Masters Cup in Shanghai later today. Nadal came from a set down to beat Davydenko yesterday to book his ticket with Federer.

Nadal and Federer have had many battles over the past couple of years, however Nadal has only been able to triumph on clay. Federer is commanding favouritism for this match, post at 1.16 with Nadal at 5.15. Nadal’s form has not been overly outstanding this week to warrant much better, given that he has struggled in a couple of matches and lost to James Blake.

If you’re looking for some betting value, don’t go past the second semi-final between Blake and David Nalbandian. Blake has been on form this season and seems to be peaking this week. Expect a fiery showdown between two players who have differing styles of play. Blake seems the value at 2.05 while Nalbandian is 1.76.
