O’Hern Upstages Tiger in Match Play Championship
February 25, 2007 11:25 am GolfConsistent Australian golfer, Nick O’Hern, has beaten undisputed world number 1 golfer, Tiger Woods for the second year at the Match Play Championship in Marana, Arizona.
O’Hern has now booked himself a spot in the quarter-finals for the matchplay.com event.
UPDATE: After the days play, Nick O’Hern finds himself out of the running for the places at the event. Swede Henrick Stenson picked himself up from being 1 down after 16 holes to beat O’Hern in the quarters.
The top 4 have been decided, with the final being contested between Geoff Ogilvy and Henrick Stenson and the 3rd place playoff between Trevor Immelman and Chad Campbell.
