Luke O’Donnell sent fear through the doctors and trainers in the Cowboys camp after hobbling off field during their match against the Warriors. He didn’t return, but luckily scans have revealed that the injury is in a different spot to the hamstring torn last season.

In Brisbane, Hunt has had scans that confirm he has torn cartilage in his knee during the Broncos and Titans match on Friday night and is set to miss the next two games, effectively ruling him out of the May 9 test.
