It’s an interesting week, with stars having the weekend off for State Of Origin duty. It’s always tough to pick winners this week, but we’ll do our best. There is a bit of value about this week – for sure!

South Sydney v Penrith
2.15 v 1.72
This is a great opportunity for South Sydney to get back on track this week after a string of really disappointing losses. Expect them to put up a great fight this week and take it right up to Penrith. Souths to win in a very close go.
Canberra v Parramatta
2.60 v 1.50
Canberra has been improving and does play well at home, but Parra are on a roll. Expect this one to be closer than many expect. The Eels should win, but Raiders to cover the 6.5 point line.
Sydney v North Queensland
2.05 v 1.77
Like the Rabbitohs, the Sydney Roosters can get things back on track this week against a depleted North Queensland side. There’s value in them there odds – Roosters to win at home.
New Zealand v Melbourne
1.58 v 2.40
Melbourne have been killed by Origin this week. It’s going to be a huge effort for them to get close to the Warriors. New Zealand to win.
Newcastle v West Tigers
2.60 v 1.50
The Tigers had a shocking loss to the Eels last week while the Knights bounced back from a previous week thumping. This one will go down to the wire with both sides hurting from Origin. The experience of the Tigers should get them home.
St George v Cronulla
1.82 v 2.00
This is the toughest match of the week to pick. We’re siding with the StG Dragons to get up on home ground advantage. Stay away from betting if you can.
