Farrah is recovering after undergoing back surgery last season and no one is more surprised than the hooker himself – no one more delighted than Coach Tim Sheens.
The Tigers will field their strongest playing list for some time in Saturday night’s clash against the Sydney City Roosters.
Coach Sheens did admit that there was a better than average chance that Farrah would take part in the match, albeit a fairly limited part and more than likely towards the back end of the match.
The tigers will be reunited with playmaker Benji Marshall who is returning from an absence incurred after a shoulder injury sidelined him.
They went through a horror season with injuries last year and finished just outside the top eight.
Roosters coach Brad ‘Freddy’ Fitler has also rushed big names Anthony Minichello, Craig Fitzgibbon and Mark O’Mealy back into his squad after they were thrashed by the St George Illawarra Dragons in Perth in the first pre season game of the year.
The Dragons have signalled their intent this year as a force to be reckoned with and will attempt to shake off the seemingly perennial title of the leagues under achievers.
