BET ON STATE OF ORIGIN

What are your thoughts on the State Of Origin 3 match? It seems as though all of the money keeps coming for Queensland, but it could certainly be closer than expected. The current odds are:

Queensland: 1.53
New South Wales: 2.55

The line is around 6 points in favour of NSW. Whatever way you look at this match, Queensland should be favourites. They have a proven side that is willing to go the extra distance to win the game. The homeground advantage is especially critical in this match – Queensland should win. No doubt about it. Our thoughts are that 1.53 is a good price for the Maroons to win.

First of all, a quick update on the First State Of Origin Betting Odds:
Queensland – 1.67
New South Wales – 2.25

Lots of other great State Of Origin Bets available here

Now onto Round 11 of the NRL.com Premiership season. With State of Origin players back again, and backing up, expect some tough matches this week. You can bet on NRL now and get the following odds:

Canterbury Bulldogs (1.78) vs North Queensland Cowboys (2.05) – A difficult one to pick, but we expect the Bulldogs forwards to give a good account of themselves and tip the scales the way of the home side. Both teams need a win, but the Doggies will prevail.

Canberra Raiders (1.95) vs St George Dragons (1.85) – The Raiders have been hot and cold this season, but one thing is for sure, they love to play at home. Expect a good effort, and Canberra to just get up in a high scoring match.

Manly Sea Eagles (1.78) vs Melbourne Storm (2.05) – By far and away the match of the round. This is a very tough game to pick between the two front runners of the comp right now. Expect some inspiring performances that will leave Manly just getting away with a home win.

Cronulla Sharks (1.20) vs Sydney Roosters (4.65) – The Sharks are also flying high and sitting in 3rd spot on the table at present. The Roosters performed very well in Melbourne last week for 30 minutes, and expect this to translate into a tight match this week. If you were tipping, stick with Cronulla, if you’re betting – why not take the Roosters at +13 points start!

Gold Coast Titans (1.72) vs South Sydney Rabbitohs (2.15) – The Titans are in a rut at the moment and our opinion is that even at home they will have trouble getting out of it against the defensive toughness of Souths. The Rabbits to win.

Brisbane Broncos (1.42) vs Newcastle Knights (2.90) – The Broncos are a star studded side that will win this week. There is a lot riding on this match for all involved, and expect them to beat a travelling Newcastle.

Penrith Panthers (2.05) vs Wests Tigers (1.78) – The Panthers are hot and cold this season so far, while the Tigers are flying high after a tough win in NZ last week. The week off won’t do the Panthers any favours – expect the Tigers to give it a good shot.

Parramatta Eels (1.48) vs New Zealand Warriors (2.65) – The Eels should perform quite well at home, but always be wary of the Warriors. They will be desperate to win this week after being beaten at home last week. We think the Warriors can win this one.
