Australian Open Golf Odds Update - Day 2
November 17, 2006 11:32 pm GolfAfter a might brighter day in Sydney today, Nathan Green continues to hold a 2 shot lead at the Australian Open Golf Championships. His odds to win have now plummeted into $2.50, with followers including Richard Green 2 shots back ($4.50), Stuart Appleby (7.00) and Gavin Coles (26.00) 5 shots behind and Adam Scott (6.00), Nick O’Hern (12.00) and Geoff Ogilvy (8.50) a whopping 6 shots off Green.
So is Nathan Green really this good and can he finish this tournament off? For sure and certain - he matched it all year as an amateur in the USPGA which has put him in good stead this week. However, another Green is snapping at his heels - Richard Green. Surely these two will fight it out for the crown? Only time will tell.
