The first half of the match saw two very strong teams building up the attacking momentum. Both teams saw no goals at half-time.

The action began during the second-half of the match when Martins created the one and only goal for Newcastle that night. Bendtner bagged Arsenal’s opening goal not soon after which and it came as no surprise as Bendtner pretty much seized the opportunity and responded to Newcastle’s slip up. Both teams came to a draw.
Soon after which, goals from Arsenal came pouring in with the efforts of Diaby and Van Persie. The strategic attack played out by both of the players managed an easy pass Harper. They were unstoppable and Diaby concealed the second goal for Arsenal.
At the 67th minute, not long after the second goal, the third goal came in swift from a corner by Nasri. While Newcastle was still in the midst of recovering from the second goal, Arsenal players were still very much focused on winning the title.
Although clearly both teams displayed great playing skills, Arsenal was the team who showed a greater desire for the winning title.
